The FDM Menu Bar

The bar across the top of the FDM window is called the menu bar.

It features the following menu icons.


	The Synchronize button opens the application menu.
	The Endpoint Tools button opens the navigation menu.
	The Get Secure Commands button retrieves secure commands for a selected device type.
	The Information button opens the system menu.
	The Filter button (available from the work order list screen only) opens the work order filter menu.
	The Create Work Order button lets you create a new work order while working in the field. It is only available from the work order list screen and only if you have permission in FDM to create work orders.
	The Can’t Complete button appears on the menu bar only after you have started a work order. It lets you indicate from any step in the work flow that you cannot complete the order (see Indicating That You Can't Complete a Work Order).
