Importing FDM List Items from CSV, XML, TXT, and BMR Files

Several FDM server client contents panes include an Import button that lets you import existing list items from a CSV, XML, TXT, or BMR file into the currently displayed list table. This enables you to populate the list with items that have already been configured in other instances of the FDM server client or in other programs. For instance, you can import pressure compensations that were created in, and exported from, another instance of the server client (for more information, see Exporting FDM Lists to CSV Files).

1. Click Import in the contents pane command toolbar.
2. FDM displays an Import dialog box prompting you to specify the path and file name of the file you want to import. Click Navigate to find and select the file to be imported.
3. Click Open to copy the path and file name to the Path box in the Import dialog box.
4. Click OK to import the list data from the file.
