Provisioning Packages

The Provisioning Packages view lets you upload FDM mobile application provisioning packages to the server and make them available to your business units. Once you have uploaded and enabled a provisioning package containing a new version of the mobile application, business unit managers can use it to update the software on their mobile devices (for more information, see Mobile Devices.

When you upload a new provisioning package, the system enables it by default. This adds the version number of the new package to the Set Version drop-down list fields in the Business Administration workbench’s mobile devices list for each of your business units.
