OpenWay Site Survey (laptop only)

Use the OpenWay site survey tool to check the availability and strength at different locations of Zigbee radio signals generated by OpenWay CENTRON meters, 2.4GZ OpenWay Gas Modules, and 2.4 ZR OpenWay Mesh Range Extenders. You can use the site survey tool to:

• Troubleshoot Zigbee communications between 2.4GZ OpenWay Gas Modules and 2.4 ZR OpenWay Mesh Range Extenders and their parent OpenWay CENTRON meters.
• Select suitable locations at which to install 2.4 ZR OpenWay Mesh Range Extenders so they can effectively relay communications between 2.4GZ OpenWay Gas Modules and their parent CENTRON meters.

Before you can run the site survey tool, you must download the OpenWay Site Survey workflow from the FDM server via synchronization (see Synchronizing the Mobile Application with the Server), you must have Site Survey permission, and you must have installed two Telegesis ETRX2USB - PA Zigbee modules on your laptop computer.
