Resetting a user password

Important! This option is available only to administrators for hosted users. For AD users, password resets are done from Active Directory itself.

  1. Navigate to Administration > Tenant > Users. Locate the user account that you want to edit.

Tip: To locate a user in the list, click Search () in the page header, enter all or part of a username, and press Enter or click Search () again. The results appear in the list. To clear the results, click the X in the search box.

  2. Click the desired Username. You are taken to the Properties tab for this user.

  3. Click Actions () in the page header and then select Reset password.

  4. In the Reset password dialog, select Yes, I want to reset password for this user.

  5. Click Reset. The new password is displayed. Click the copy icon () to copy the username and password to your clipboard. Paste this information immediately to a text file and save it in a secure location.

Important! The newly reset password will not be provided again. Be sure to copy and save it for future reference.

  6. Click Close.
