Getting started
Each customer's configuration of Operations Optimizer software may be different, depending on the organization's requirements. The goal is to improve and develop business processes and workflows and improve operational efficiencies and program performance. To this end, Operations Optimizer software provides a set of programs. Each program displays views that are grouped by the business purpose. Utility entities that exist in the same database, such as meters and accounts, can move independently through multiple program workflows.
Different programs allow parallel workflows for different groups of end users. For example, analysts working in the AMI Operations - Analyze program do not interfere with utility analysts working in the same program or in the Revenue Assurance - AMI program.
This chapter provides instructions on how to get started with Operations Optimizer software.
