EMN - Electric Minimum Consumption Score
The Electric Minimum Consumption Score looks for very low electricity consumption on any given account for the business or residence type. The more often the consumption is exceedingly low, the higher the score is. If a parent-child relationship does not already exist for these accounts, check for one. Checking for accounts on the street or on cross-streets is crucial to ensuring that the consumption is, in fact low for the business or residence. Quality screening is critical because it gives an idea of the size of a business, where it is located, and thus how much electricity it should be using. For restaurants: check to see how many tables they have, how large of a party they can seat, and if they only do takeout. For other business types, questions tailored to the business type could shed some light on the overall size of the premises. In some situations, it might help to physically visit the location, if possible.
