Identifiers

The Identifiers panel displays the following transaction identifiers:

• Message ID. A message identifier consisting of 36 characters maximum.
• Transaction ID. The identifier of the current transaction.
• Initiating transaction ID. A related transaction which initiated the current transaction.
• NMI. The National Metering Identifier, as defined in the National Electricity Rules, consisting of 10 characters maximum.
• NMI checksum. An integer ranging from 0 to 9 representing the result of a calculation used to validate the NMI. The calculation uses ASCII character values to check for errors.
• Service order ID. A service order identifier consisting of 36 characters maximum.
• Appointment reference. An appointment description consisting of 36 characters maximum.
• Notified party ID. A notification of the service order has been issued to the party indicated.
