Common controls

The following controls appear throughout the application. Not all controls are available for all items.

Changing the date

  1. In the gray header bar, click the date.

  2. Click Calendar () and select a new Reporting Date.

    Tip: Click the heading of the calendar to scale backwards, from viewing a month, to viewing a year, to viewing a small range of years, to viewing a large range of years.

  3. Click Apply.

Shifting a date

In the gray header bar, click shift back () to shift the date back by a day, or click shift forward () to shift the date forward by a day.

Filtering the page by division or region

  1. In the gray header bar, click All Divisions\All Regions.

  2. From the Division menu, select a division.

  3. From the Region menu, select a region.

  4. Click Apply.

Navigating to a feeder details page

  1. In the gray header bar, click Navigate to feeder page ().

  2. From the Substation menu, select a substation.

  3. From the Feeder menu, select a feeder.

  4. Click Apply.

Panel controls

  • Click Help (?) to open the help content for the current panel.

  • Click Refresh () to refresh the panel.

  • Click Download () to export the data shown in the table. Select the file type and then the location to save the file (options may vary according to your browser settings).

  • Click Collapse () to collapse the panel so that only the title bar is visible. Click Expand () to expand the collapsed panel to the normal view.

  • Click Fullscreen () to expand the panel to take up the full screen. Click Exit Fullscreen () to collapse the panel to its normal size.

Table controls

  • Click a column header to sort the table by that attribute in ascending order (indicated by an up arrow). Click the column header again to switch to descending order (indicated by a down arrow). Click the column header again to restore the original sort order (indicated by no arrow).

  • Click Show/Hide column filters () to filter specific table columns. Enter the text you want to filter by in the column you want to filter (alphanumeric characters only). Click Show/Hide column filters again to hide the column filters. Some column filters have pop up boxes that enable you to enter a numerical value and to select an operator (is less than, is less than or equal to, is greater than, is greater than or equal to, is equal to, or is null).

    You may filter more than one column. When filters are applied to more than one column, both filters are applied and only rows that match the criteria for both filters are displayed.

    Hiding the column filters clears the filters and returns the table to the default view.

  • Click in a column header to open the column controls.

    • Under Columns, select checkboxes to show columns. Clear checkboxes to hide columns.

    • Under Filter, use the query builder and click Filter to filter the table by the column's data.

  • Click a table row to select the event for display on the page's other panels.

  • Click a service point ID in the Service Point ID column to open the Service Point Details page to that device.

  • Click Edit Status () in the Status column to change an event's status or comments. For more information, see EditEventStatus.

Map controls

  • Click Map () to change the appearance of the map.

  • Click Zoom in (+), scroll the mouse wheel forward, or double-click in the map to zoom in one level. Click Zoom out (-) or scroll the mouse wheel backward to zoom out one level.

  • Click Search () to search the map for a location. Enter an address or place name and click Search ().

  • Click Default extent () to reset the map position and zoom.
