Resuming or canceling paused jobs
Some jobs can enter a paused state because the EAC automatically paused the job when specific errors were returned. Only one job per group of target devices can be paused at a time, and other jobs targeting the same group of target devices cannot be started until the paused job is completed or canceled.
EAC automatically tries to resume paused jobs at set intervals. The job resume frequency increases with the amount of time since the job pause. For example, in the first 24 hours since pause, EAC tries to resume every 2 hours. From 24-72 hours, EAC tries to resume every 6 hours. After 72 hours, EAC tries to resume every 12 hours.
Jobs that are left in a paused state for seven days will automatically show as failed and their status info is Canceled, job expired.
Users can manually resume or cancel paused jobs. All utility roles that could perform the initial action have permissions to perform this task.
