Subscribing to events for email or SMS notifications

Subscribing to events sends you an email or SMS text message notification when the event occurs in the EAC. All utility roles have permissions to perform this task.

1. In the menu bar, click Settings (), and then under Settings, click Notifications.

2. Click the ellipsis menu () in the row and select Subscribe.

3. To receive email notifications, select the Email checkbox.

   Tip: The Email checkbox may not be enabled for some events.

4. To receive SMS text message notifications, select the SMS checkbox.

   Tip: The SMS checkbox may not be enabled for some events.

   Important! For SMS text messages to be successfully delivered, your phone number in Active Directory must include a plus sign (+), your country code, and your area code. For example, +1 (509) 842-8888.

5. Click Subscribe.
