Required Software

Important!  A Service Account user with administrator privileges is required to host all services. This user must be part of an administrator group for each machine. To prevent permissions issues, perform all prerequisite steps and installation scripts while logged on to this account.

The following software must be installed on each machine before you begin the installation of the IMS core components and adapters:

• Operating system: Microsoft^® Windows Server 2019
• Microsoft .NET Core Hosting Bundle (latest version of 3.1.x): dotnet-hosting-3.1.25-win.exe

• Microsoft .NET Core Hosting Bundle (latest version of 6.0.x): dotnet-hosting-6.0.5-win.exe

  Note:  Both .NET Core 3.1.x and .NET Core 6.0.x must be installed on each server to support all IMS services.

• Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8: ndp48-web.exe
• Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (2015-2022): vc_redist.x64.exe

• Oracle^® Java JRE 1.8.0.333 (or latest version of 1.8.x): jre-8u333-windows-x64.exe
