Status element
The ReadingStatus element contains either an EncodedStatus attribute or an UnencodedStatus attribute.
EncodedStatus attribute
The EncodedStatus attribute represents the binary format for reading status values and is available only on readings that are exported from IEE. It is not used on import.
UnencodedStatus attribute
The UnencodedStatus attribute contains string representations of reading status values. It contains one string value for the source validation status and a list of status names for other necessary status values.
SourceValidation attribute
SourceValidation is an attribute of the UnencodedStatus element. The SourceValidation status refers to the validation code, if any, that is passed from the source of the reading. The value is case sensitive and must be one of the following:

StatusCode elements
Additional status values are supplied as a list of StatusCode elements. Each status code is a simple string name. Status code names can be defined according to the external system and reading status mapping that is created in IEE. IEE maps the status code names to internal IEE statuses upon import.
