Compatibility
This section describes the version compatibility for IEE Core.
Upgrade paths
The following upgrade paths are supported by the database upgrade scripts.
For the following releases, you can upgrade directly to 10.4 schema using the 10.4 database upgrade scripts:

9.0 > 10.4

10.0 > 10.4

10.1 > 10.4

10.2 > 10.4

10.3 > 10.4
For other releases, you must upgrade your database to 9.0 or 10.0 schema first:

7.0 SP4 > 9.0

8.0 > 9.0
-
8.1 > 9.0
-
8.2 > 9.0 or 8.2 > 10.0

Supported collection systems
Two-way interoperability is supported with the following collection systems. Support dates for Itron collection systems can be found on the Product Lifecycle Roadmap.

Note: IEE MDM does not support the "push mode" capability for near real-time data delivery from the meter that was added in OpenWay SR7.0.
