Itron OpenWay meter simulator
A simulator is used to generate the volume of Itron OpenWay meters needed for testing IEE ARI. The simulator points to the Itron OpenWay database and requires the following running executables to function:
-
List Server. The List Server is run from Simulator.ListServer.exe, under the List Server directory. The List Server adds the network IP addresses available for the simulator’s use.
-
Simulator. The simulator is run from Itron.Simulator.exe, under the Simulator directory. The Simulator replicates the data when a job is called and returns the data based on the subscription to the Collection Engine.
-
Coordinator. The Coordinator is run from Simulator.Coordinator.exe, under the Coordinator folder. All setup is completed on the Coordinator to direct the simulator's actions.
Note: For more information about the Itron OpenWay Simulator, see the Scale Simulator Configuration Guide, which is part of the Itron OpenWay Simulator package.
