IEE and MetrixIDR System Operations

This guide explains how to configure weather data configurations, the unit of measure (UOM) that will be used to import the weather data from MetrixIDR and IEE , and the type of supported configurations that will be used to import forecasted and backcasted energy data. A settlement market has many retailers that operate in one or more of the market's zones. Each zone has many retail settlement points and retailers that sell energy to their consumers. The settlement enrollment process moves retail settlement points across retailers.

MetrixIDR Systems Operations is a flexible system that generates sub-hourly, hourly, or daily forecasts for lists of delivery points or portfolios of electric and gas retail customers, where the portfolio can be changed daily. By combining historical load data with weather and calendar information, MetrixIDR provides forecasters the ability to create forecast models for a large number of customers, manage a changing customer base, and monitor forecast-accuracy over time.
