Configuring NMS settings in the IEE Manager

If you are using a Cisco network management system (NMS) in your network, use the NMS Settings option to define parameters permitting a Cisco Network Management System and the IEE to communicate using web services.

1. Select the Enable NMS checkbox.

2. Enter the host name of the NMS service in the Host Name field.

3. Enter a port number if you are not using the default port. Leave the field blank if you are using the default HTTPS port (443).

4. Enter the username used by the OpenWay Collection Engine to connect to the NMS.

5. Enter the password used by the OpenWay Collection Engine to connect to the NMS.

   Optional: Select the Show password checkbox to enable NMS to show the password that a user will enter to connect to the NMS.

6. To test the connection, click Test Connection.

7. Click Finish or click Next to navigate to another option.
