Adding OpenWay to the AMI Collection Systems code table

Modify the AMI Collection Systems code table to point to the Itron OpenWay Collection Engine, enable Two-Way Controls, and enable automatic subscription.

1. In IEE, select System Administration > System Admin > Code TableSetup.

2. From the Code Table Selection list, select AMI CollectionSystems.

3. Click New.

4. Click Enabled.

5. From the Collection System Adapter list, select Itron OpenWay CollectionSystem.

6. From the External System list, select ItronOpenWay.

7. Select all the following:

   • Subscribe to Endpoint Data

   • Subscribe to Meter Exceptions

   • Auto-Subscribe

   • Auto-Unsubscribe

8. Click the Subscriber Addresses tab.

9. From the Endpoint Data Address list, select the URL receiving the endpoint data.

10. From the Meter Exceptions Address list, select the URL receiving the meter exception data.

11. Under Capabilities, select the items that your installation is configured to support. This can include:

    • Gas Meter Binding

    • HAN Binding

    • On Demand Read

    • Remote Programming

    • Meter Alarms

    • Remote Connect (Direct or ViaCollar)

    • Ping

    • Load Side Voltage Test

      Firmware Download

      Load Profile Data

12. Click Save and then configure the settings on the Groups, Endpoint Types, and Exception Categories tabs, if needed.
