Installation failure with installer retry option

Symptoms

When running the Web UI installer for a version of Web UI that is already installed on the machine, you will see a dialog with two options: Repair and Remove. If you select Repair, the installation may fail.

Possible causes

This is a known issue (2406556), as described in the release notes, and is being investigated for the next release of Web UI.

Resolution

Run the installer again, select Remove, and then install Web UI again.
