System requirements

Verify that your system meets the following requirements before installing Service Mode:

• Microsoft^® Windows Server 2019 or 2022 for Service Mode servers.

• Microsoft^® Windows 2019 or 2022 or Windows 11 Enterprise Edition for Service Mode client machines (64 bit), if separate.

• Microsoft^® Windows 2019 or 2022 or Windows 11 Enterprise Edition for xiCOMM client machines (64 bit), if separate.

• SQL Server 2019 or SQL Server 2022 for Windows (64-bit). All Service Mode machines must run the same version and build of SQL Server.

• Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 and .NET Framework 3.5 must be installed on all machines containing Service Mode components. If not already installed on the machine, a prompt appears for its installation. Allow the .NET Framework installation to continue.

• Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) on all machines containing Service Mode components.

• IEE must be upgraded to 10.4 before upgrading Service Mode.

Note: You must have administrative access to add and remove software on the Service Mode servers.
