Rate modeling in IEE SAP vs IEE

The IEE rate creation process differs from how you would configure rates during a core IEE implementation.

• Do not associate rates with service points. Instead, the request document defines which rate to use when calculating the billing determinants for a particular service point.

• Do not create season blocks for IEE rates. Use a single season with a start date of January 1 and an end date of December 31. SAP does not use seasons in rates. If the seasons change within a billing period, SAP sends two requests.

• Do not create peak-time rebate (PTR) as SAP does not provide demand-response events to IEE.

• Do not create rate schedules that depend on a baseline or that require that rates be assigned to service points.
