Enabling TCP/IP and Named Pipe SQL Server Protocols

Use the following procedure to enable SQL Server Protocols:

1. Navigate to SQL Server Configuration Manager.

2. Select Respective Protocol on the SQL Server Network Configuration.

3. Update the properties for the protocol.

4. Click OK.

   

5. Verify the properties are updated.

   

6. Restart the Microsoft SQL Service (MSSQL).
