Configuring Authentication for Outbound Market Transaction
To configure the Market Transaction API in system settings for communication with the General Electric Vernova (GEV) API, you must update the following two case-sensitive settings during the installation process:
-
UtilihiveBaseUrl. This setting holds the URI address of the GEV API endpoint.
-
UtilihiveEncryptedApiKey. This setting holds the API key used by the GEV API to authenticate the incoming request. The Market Transaction API needs to configure this key to be able to successfully authenticate.
Important! The property values for these settings must be updated based on the environment in which the installation is being performed.
Important! After updating the settings, you must stop and restart the service to ensure that the settings are updated and take effect.
Note: The UtilihiveBaseUrl and UtilihiveEncryptedApiKey settings are only applicable to Market Transaction.
