Configure task templates

The task system manages all imports, exports, logs, reports, and other functions of IEE. Which tasks you use depend on what IEE applications you installed and what type of data you collect and analyze.

Each task instance is based on a task template.

This section describes the task templates required for the initial import of configuration data and reading data into IEE. Task templates for each IEE application are described in the application-specific chapters. For other task templates, refer to the IEE MDM Help.

You must configure at least one configuration import task template and one reading import task template to get started with IEE. For more information, see Bill XML Import on page 1.

This section first describes the general procedures for configuring any task template, and then describes the specific parameters you must configure for the required customer configuration and reading import tasks.
