Validation slot names

Use Validation Slot Names to define the display name of each validation slot.

Typically, IEE administrators create validation sets that have a specific purpose, such as billing or load research and analysis. Each validation slot ID has a name that describes the purpose of the validation set it contains. The name makes it easier for users to identify validation slots throughout IEE. For example, it is easier for a queue operator to understand ValidationSlot1(Billing) than it is to remember that ValidationSlot1 is the Billing slot.

Updating Validation Slot Names

1. Go to System Administration > System Admin > Validation Slot Names.
2. Enter a Description for each validation slot ID. The Description is the validation slot name.
3. Click Save.
