Overview of program configuration

Standard curtailment programs and rate-based programs are configured in the Curtailment workbench. Rate-based programs use a small fraction of the curtailment program parameters and do not require or allow direct service point enrollment.

Before an Administrator can enroll a service point in a standard curtailment program, there must first be one or more available programs. Curtailment programs can be configured in a number of different ways to meet any number of curtailment needs, including:

• Type (Mandatory or Voluntary)

• Overlap Behavior and Priority

• Baseline

• Settlement Method

• Notification Type (email/page, XML, Envoy)

• Many more

Once Curtailment programs have been configured in IEE, they can also be edited. Configuring Curtailment programs in the IEE client makes programs available for use by Operators in the IEE web client, where Operators can then issue events to Users.
