Event filters

Use event filters to find select device events that you want to store to a file or route to MSMQ.

Filter the events by Category to allow similar events to be grouped together.

Configure the following filter types:

• Alarm. An Alarm type event is a critical event that causes the meter to try to contact the head end outside of the normal reading cycle.

• Event. An Event type event is stored by the meter and is usually captured by the head end on the next meter read.

• Alarm and Event. Filters by both alarm and event.
