Creating analytical reports

Go to Meter Data Management >Tools > Reports > Analytical.
Double-click the type of report you want to create from the dropdown list.
Enter the parameters for the report. The options vary based on the selected report.

Notes
- For the Engineering Units, Weekly Detail, and Coincident/Noncoincident Peaks reports, select a specific Service Point ID or enter a specific Formula.
- Group reporting is available on the Engineering Units, KVA Analysis Daily Summary, Weekly Detail, and Coincident/Noncoincident Peaks reports.
- Be sure you understand how IEE reports on and displays intervals with missing and empty status codes.
To define the Time Span, choose an option:
- Select the Time Period from the dropdown menu and select the appropriate date and time criteria.
- (Optional) Click Reading Groups to view and select a particular meter reading group. For more information about using reading groups, see Reading group selection.
- (Optional) Click Schedule Dates to select a Time of Use (TOU) schedule. For more information, see Schedule dates.
Select additional report options:

Data Type
Defines the data type for which data is reported. The valid values are as follows.
- Demand
- Consumption
- Pulse
  
  Note: Not all data types are available for all entity types. Only those data types that are applicable to the selected entity are available.
Output Interval Size

Defines the length of the output interval data in minutes, regardless of how data is stored. This value must be a multiple of the recorded interval length and an even factor of 60.

Report Format

Defines the report format. Use the dropdown box to select a report format, such as detailed or peak.

Minutes to Roll

Defines the length of time over which to average the demand, and allows you to smooth demand. Rolling demand may be required for billing purposes. For example, if the export is for billing, and the customer contract specifies billing on a 60 minute rolling demand for data that is metered in 15 minute intervals, set the Minutes to Roll to 60. When you export the data, there is an interval value every 15 minutes. However, the value is an averaged demand value over 60 minutes that ends at the time stamp for each 15 minute interval. In this case, the averaged intervals are the current interval plus the three previous intervals.

As Metered

Determines if IEE exports data using the metered interval length (instead of specifying an Interval Length). Select this checkbox to enable this parameter.

Apply Losses

Determines if IEE will apply losses when calculating values for the report. Select this checkbox to enable this parameter.

Show Losses

Determines whether losses display in the report. Select the checkbox to display the losses.
Select your choice for Output.
Under Output, select the destination for this report. Use the Send Data To dropdown list to select:
- Screen. Displays the report results on another tab on the IEE Report Page or as an interactive graph.
- Printer. Sends the report to a printer. Select the printer below.
- Disk. Sends the report to a user-specified directory. Configure the following parameters:
  
  Export File Type
  
  Determines the output format for the export file. Use the dropdown list to select the output format for the report if you are sending this export to disk.
  
  Export Directory
  
  Defines the directory where IEE places the file containing exported data. Accept the IEE default file path or click Search to browse to a directory. This parameter supports the standard IEE macros. Reference as ($ExportDirectory) when configuring a task. Exported data is generated by an export task template or an export API.
  
  Export File Name
  
  Defines the export file name. You can enter a unique file name or accept the default. This parameter supports the standard IEE macros.
  
  Note: You can change the default setting for the output in the Task Template for the corresponding report.
Click Run Report.

When you have finished viewing the report, click to close the report.
