Interactive graphing
Interactive graphs provide a graphical view of data and are most helpful when viewing interval data. For example, an interactive graph can illustrate load shapes.
IEE can graph, view, and compare data among several service point channels. You can view data for specific or dynamic service point channels, or choose to run the graph using the Universal Calculation Engine (UCE) to calculate new data from existing service point channels.
After defining the graph variables, IEE provides the option to view the interval data as a line or bar graph. For added convenience, reported values display in a table format. Magnify any portion of the graph, regardless of the date and time range, to narrow the focus of generated values. With each generated graph, IEE calculates the maximum usage, the date the maximum usage occurred, and the total usage.
For more information about creating interactive graphs, see Creating an interactive graph.
The following are features of interactive graphs:
-
Plot graphs according to a selected graph type.
-
Compare and view graphical data from several service point channels for research load management and projections.
-
Schedule dates by a date range, month, or week increments by a specified time zone.
-
Determine the output interval length, the rolling interval length, the minimum and maximum scale of the graph.
-
Use the Formula Builder to graph interval data using the UCE tool.
-
View the retrieved data as a line graph, bar graph, or table of values on your screen.
-
Plot graphs with designated markers to verify highs and lows among several channels.
-
Save a graph as a JPEG or a spreadsheet file.
