Configuration maintenance: Meter user defined attribute (UDA)

Accessible from the Configuration maintenance: Meter ID page, the User defined attributes (UDAs) panel displays the number of UDAs configured out of the total number of UDAs for the meter. The UDAs display in alphabetical order.

Note: The User defined attributes panel only displays if at least one user defined attribute is defined in the system for the node type meter.

Permissions

When a UDA has not been configured, the input value is empty, and the editable value is enabled as long as the user has permission to edit. If the user does not have permission to edit, all editable values are disabled (grayed-out).

Tip: Meter swaps that have SAP UDAs are allowed from IEE Core and ISAIM (previously, meter swaps were only allowed through ISAIM).

The panel support the following controls:

  • To collapse the panel, click Up (icon).

  • To expand the collapsed panel, click Down (icon).

The page supports the following actions:

  • To save changes made to the configuration, click Save.

  • To reset the configuration to the default settings, click Reset.

Note: All changes made to the configuration are logged in the Audit log (with the user credentials and time stamp), and can be viewed from the Audit Log window.
