Remote interrogation queue
The Remote Interrogation Queue provides a central location for viewing and resolving failed processes associated with retrieving data from remotely interrogated devices (meters or interval data recorders) through the Service Mode component. If the process to retrieve information and store it in the IEE database fails at any point, IEE creates an exception queue entry for the device. Queue entries are created due to communication failures, interval data import failures, communication log import failures, and any other type of failure associated with retrieving and storing data.
Using the Remote Interrogation Queue, you can view statistics as a graphical summary of recent exceptions, sort and group exceptions, reschedule interrogation, record notes about exceptions, and save the list as an Excel CSV file. After a successful interrogation or manual intervention, the entry is removed from the queue.
To use the Remote Interrogation queue, go to Meter Data Management > Tools > Queues and Diagnostics > Remote Interrogation.
IEE offers bulk rescheduling and deletion of Remote Interrogation Queue records. Right-click any option in the tree view to Reschedule All or Delete All records.
