Estimating data for failed validation items

IEE typically runs estimation automatically as part of a failed validation. See Automated Estimation Routines.

However, you can run estimation manually from the validation queue.

Viewing Estimation Results

1. Select the queue items for which you want to estimate data.

2. Right-click the selection.

3. Click Estimate.

   IEE prompts you to save readings for failed validation.

   If the data has already been resubmitted and passed validation, the Estimate action becomes unavailable.

4. Select the appropriate validation slot for the missing data and click OK.

   IEE opens the Estimation Results window in a new tab. This tab lists the channels for the service point you selected, the date range of the data, and the status of the estimation routine. Click on an item to see details of the estimation attempt in the lower pane.

5. Click Close when you are finished.
