ARI file types and file states

The following tables describe values associated with ARI file types and states that are tracked on the ARI Dashboard:

The ARI process produces more file types than the ones discussed here, however, those files are not tracked in ARI Dashboard. For more information about ARI file types and ARI file states, see the AMI Readings Import Guide.

Table 39 ARI file types and ARI file states
File type	Value	Definition
XML	0	Incoming reading file.
Work bin	1	Files that contains reading files for ARI processing.
Clean reading	2	Binary files that contain validated readings, both actual and estimated. Clean reading files appear in the ARI Files user interface only as .ETB/.BCB files. ETB/.BCB files contain both interval reads and register reads. Note: A Clean reading file with a file size of 0 indicates that the clean reading file only contains readings for registers. For more information, see the AMI Readings Import Guide.
Resubmit (Banked)	5	Files that must be resubmitted through the ARI process.
ARI bypass	6	Files that are bypassing ARI processing and are being imported through the Workbin0 file for standard reading import (SRI) processing.
