Assessing data quality for a queue item

The Status Summary provides a quick way to assess the quality of the interval data for the selected service point channel during the date range of the queue item. The Status Summary shows the total number of intervals with a particular status and the percentage of intervals with that status compared to all intervals.

For example, a utility might limit the amount of estimated data that is allowed to be used in billing, such as 20 percent of the intervals in a given date range. You can look at the Status Summary to see whether the queue item exceeds that limit.

Viewing the Status Summary

  1. Click the queue item to select it.

  2. In the top pane, click Diagnostics.

  3. The Status Summary displays in the Readings pane, to the right of the graph.

    • Count. This column shows the total number of intervals with that status for the date range.

    • Percentage. This column shows the percentage of intervals with that status based on the total number of intervals.
