Duplicate events

It is possible for a meter to send IEE a duplicate event. IEE determines the event is a duplicate based on the following criteria:

• Device ID

• Event Code

• Date/Time stamp

Regardless of why the duplicate event was generated, IEE stores only the original event and discards all duplicates.
