Login service logic

The Login Service logic is built on top of the standard IEE Web Service authentication and authorization. Therefore, if using a client certificate to control access to the service, then that certificate must match a separate, application-level user in the ItronIdentity database table. For more information, see the IEE Web Services User Guide.

Caution: The datasource column in the ItronIdentity database table contains user data, static data, and default data. The IEEServices user password is static. Static data is supplied by Itron and is required for proper operation of IEE. Do not change or remove static data. For more information refer to the IEE Data Dictionary.
