Creating or editing a rate schedule
The rate schedule creation and editing screen has several tabs, but only the General tab is required in order to save the rate schedule. You can save as you go rather than waiting until you have created the entire rate schedule.
Verify that the service provider, Time of use (TOU) schedules and billing determinants that pertain to this rate schedule already exist in IEE. If they do not already exist, you must create them before you can add them to a rate schedule.
Rate Modeler requires a Time of Use schedule, even for a uniform rate.
-
Go to Rate Modeler > Rates > Create or Edit.
-
Double-click Rate.
-
Under Rate Name:
-
To create a rate schedule, click the dropdown menu and click Create.
-
To edit a rate schedule, select a rate from the dropdown menu. Or click the dropdown box and click Search to search for an existing rate schedule.
Note: Editing rate schedules after they are assigned to service points may cause additional load on background processing updates. In particular, changes to rates that are related to Demand Response programs can cause configuration updates for reevaluation of event participation.
