Viewing the estimation log
Use View Estimation Log to view the following information about estimation results:
-
Determine which Like Days were used to calculate estimated data.
-
View automated or manual estimation results by criteria such as service point, date, estimation status, or estimation set.
-
View manual estimation results by the user ID of the person who performed the manual estimation.
-
Determine whether peak shaving was applied.
-
View the number of readings estimated by each estimation routine.
The estimation log includes items for estimation operations that IEE has already performed. To view or cancel estimation operations that IEE has not yet performed, see Pending estimations.
The estimation log displays log items in the sequence that the estimation routines were run. If the estimation set is edited to change the sequence, the estimation log also changes. The sequence of the log items always matches the sequence of estimation routines that is currently defined in the estimation set, even if the log was created before the estimation set was edited.
Note: The estimation log typically shows the values that were used for estimation. However, if the estimation set changed after the estimation was performed, then the estimation log shows the values that are defined in the current estimation set. If the estimation set changed, the values in the estimation log do not match the estimated readings that are stored in the IEE database.
An IEE administrator can define the number of days of estimation data that is available in the log. Estimation results data is stored in the IEE database for a minimum of 13 months.
