Request processing

The request process moves the meter reading request from the billing system into IEE and on to the collection system. It includes two IEE adapters:

• IEE Billing Import Adapter. This adapter translates read requests from billing systems and save these requests into the IEE database’s Work Collection schema. Internal logic assigns dates and internal identifiers for future processing.

• IEE Collection System Export Adapter. This adapter creates files to export to the request-based collection systems.
