Google Chrome language settings

If using the Google Chrome browser, use the following procedure to confirm or change your default language and locale:

1. Click the browser's menu () and select Settings. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Advanced. Expand the Language panel. Your current language selection displays the following message: This language is used to display the Google Chrome UI.

   

   If the current language selection is correct, no further action is needed. If your wanted selection is in the list but not currently selected, skip to step 4.

2. If your language and locale preference is not in the list, select Add languages.

3. Select the checkbox next to your language and locale, and then select Add. The new selection appears in the Language panel.

4. In the Language panel, select More actions () next to your preference and select Display Google Chrome in this language.

5. Click Relaunch.
