ARI files
Use the ARI Files user interface to search for, filter, and view ARI files. Apply filters to control what items are displayed. Using filters is not required. You can use as few or as many of the filter properties as you want. In addition to filtering and viewing files, you can view a file hierarchy, which allows you to select a file and then view all of the files to which it is related. For more information see File hierarchy.
From the ARI Files user interface, you can locate files that require resubmission for ARI processing, and resubmit them.
When your ARI filter and search results display the data of your interest, you can export the data to a Microsoft Excel workbook.
In the ARI Files dialog, the following columns provide detail information:
File Name
Defines the file name.
File Type
Describes the file type. The valid values are as follows:
-
XML. Incoming reading files
-
Work bin. Files that contain the reading files for further ARI processing
-
Clean Reading. Binary files that contain validated readings, both actual and estimated. Clean reading files appear in the ARI Files user interface only as .ETB/.BCB files. These files are representative of many other files that are produced by VE processing. .ETB/.BCB files are clean reading files for both interval readings and register readings. An .ETB or .BCB file with a file size of 0 indicates that the file contains only register readings. When you resubmit an .ETB file, all other files that are related to it that are produced by VE processing, and which you do not see in ARI Dashboard, are resubmitted with it. For more information about the files produced by VE processing, see the AMI Readings Import Guide.
