External system TIM slot table
This code table defines values for ServiceModeXI to define XiComm behavior for each specific ServiceModeXI server. It defines the Translation Interface Module (TIM) slot used.
Use the following procedure to configure the External System TIM Slot Code Table:

Go to System Administration > System Admin > Code Table Setup.

From the Code Table Selection List, select External System TIM Slot table.

Use the Number of rows to insert on add dropdown menu to select the number of blank rows to add to the code table.

From the Code Table Setup menu, click Add. The new rows appear in the table.

Click
to select each blank row added and configure the following parameters for each external system TIM slot:

ID. Defines the identifier for the external system TIM slot.

Description.

External System. Defines the external system to which this TIM slot is mapped.

TIM ID.

Configuration File Name. Defines the name of the meter configuration file.

Connection Type. Defines the COM port; leave this blank to make this COM port available for general calling.

Days to Read on Alarm. Defines the number of days of meter data to read when a meter-initiated communication alarm condition occurs.

Message Level. Defines the level of debug information XiComm should produce when interrogating meters (4 - 7 are the only useful levels for ServiceMode). At higher levels XiComm produces a debug file.

Read on Alarm. Determines whether the XiComm should attempt to obtain readings from a meter when an Alarm condition causes meter-initiated communication. Select 1 for Yes or 0 for No.

Verify Configuration. Determines whether XiComm should perform additional verification of configuration before retrieving data (not currently implemented by XiComm). Select 1 for Yes or 0 for No.

Delete Successful Read On Retry. Determines whether XiComm should gather all current register values if the preceding read could not successfully obtain all of the values. Select 1 for Yes or 0 for No.
