Configuring the bulk validation operation service

The bulk validation operation service supports automated and manual validation processes. Each bulk validation service uses a task template that defines behaviors such as whether to run the validation queue resolver and the bulk validation processor.

Before you configure bulk validation operation services, perform the following tasks:

• Configure one or more bulk validation operation service task templates.

Adding the Bulk Validation Operation Service

1. Go to System Administration > System Admin > Service Management.

2. Click Add Service.

3. From the Service Type dropdown menu, select Bulk Validation Operation Service.

4. The Add/Edit Service dialog opens. Enter valid values. For more information, see Services.

5. Click Additional Setup.

6. Select the task template for this instance of the bulk validation operation service.

7. Click OK.

8. On the Add/Edit Service dialog, click Save.

9. The new Bulk Validation Operation Service appears in the Unassigned Services pane.

10. Click Refresh Now to move the service from the Unassigned Services pane to the Application Services pane on the Service Management tab.

After creating the bulk validation operation service, use the task monitor to schedule the service and view the task logs the same as you would any other service.
