Configuring estimation routines: Common parameters

All estimation routines include the following common parameters:

  • Mark for Delete. Select to remove the estimation routine from the estimation set. If the estimation set has not been used to estimate data, IEE removes the estimation routine when you click Save.

Note: If the estimation set has been used to estimate data, you cannot remove the routine from the set. Instead, use the Disable Routine checkbox to disable the routine.

  • Disable Routine. Select to disable the estimation routine without removing the routine from the estimation set. Disabled routines do not run when the estimation set is used. To enable the routine again in the future, clear the checkbox.

  • Statuses to Mark. Defines the non-estimation statuses that an estimation routine must set on an estimated read. This allows you to mark reads with statuses that are not typically used by the estimation process. The Statuses to Mark parameter in the estimation set overrides the Statuses to Mark parameters in the individual estimation routines included within that set.

  • Statuses to Ignore. Defines the reads to exclude from estimation. The estimation process ignores any reads that have the statuses defined in this parameter. The Statuses to Ignore parameter in the estimation set overrides the Statuses to Ignore parameters in the individual estimation routines included within that set.
