Configure the following parameters:Program Summary
Program ID
Defines the program ID used to run the report.
Market Type
Defines the type of utility service. The valid values are as follows.
- Electric
- Gas
- Water
- Electric and water
- Electric and gas
- Gas and water
- Intangible. Intangible refers to items such as taxes, which are not measured commodities.
Commodity type is also called market type.
Description
Enter a description of the meter program.
IsEnabled
Determines if you can create an instance using this program. When not specified, the default value is true.
Category
Determines the category of the program. This is a user-defined grouping of programs defined in the Program Category code table. For more information, see Program category code table in the Rich Client Help.
ID Defaults. The following fields are displayed on the meter instance. The default values for these fields are specified here.
External System ID
Defines any external system to which IEE configuration data can be associated. In many places this parameter provides you with the dropdown menu to select from the external systems configured in the External System table.
Time Zone
Defines the time zone that corresponds to the time period and start/end dates you select in the task template.
- For Rate Event Report, the time zone format is PacificUS, PacificUSNoDst, and EasternUS.
- For TOU Schedules, the IDs cannot start with a numeric character. For example, "400_TOUSchedule" is not a valid ID. Instead, name the ID "TOUSchedule_400".
Contact Form
Defines a default value for wiring of the base when creating meters using this program. The valid values are as follows.
- A = Two Wire
- C = Three Wire
Monitoring Data Program
Defines the default monitoring data program for all meter instances that are associated with this meter program. To override the default monitoring meter program, specify the monitoring data program on the Meter Instance. For more information, see Assigning a monitoring data program to a meter instance.
UDA Defaults
User Defined Attributes are template values used to populate fields on the service point instance. Define the UDA in the User defined attribute table, and specify default values for the attribute on the
User-defined attribute default values screen.
Meter
Manufacturer
Defines the name of the hardware manufacturer.
Model
Defines the hardware model number. Enter the model number of the associated hardware. For example, for meters, enter the meter model number.
Device Type
Defines the Device Type for a Fixed Network meter program. Determine what the Device Type is on the Fixed Network system and enter it here.
Capabilities. Select the checkboxes for the applicable meter capabilities.

Recorder
Has Recorder. Select the checkbox if the meter has a recorder.
An electronic device that records metered quantities, such as load profile data. Examples of recorders include ERTs (encoder receiver transmitter) and interval data recorders. A single meter can have multiple recording devices, which can be internal under the meter cover or connected externally to the meter.
Recorder Program ID. Unique ID.
Manufacturer
Defines the name of the hardware manufacturer.

Defines the hardware model number. Enter the model number of the associated hardware. For example, for meters, enter the meter model number.
Time Zone
Select the time zone where the recorder is located from the dropdown menu.
