Managing item view list columns

The item list contains several columns for each entity.

To sort the list by any column, click the column header to sort in ascending or descending order by that column. Click the header again to toggle between ascending and descending order.

To show or hide columns, right-click the column header and select or clear the appropriate checkboxes.

The columns can be dragged and dropped into any order you wish. The following is a list of possible columns on the Item View with a description for each column:

ClosedRequest ID

The ID that IEE assigns to the export request.

ClosedEntity Type

Defines the entity that IEE builds the export file around. It supports all main configuration entities except Premise. The valid values are as follows:

  • Customer

  • Account

  • Meter

  • Service Point

  • Service Point Channel

In a task template, select the type from the dropdown menu and click Search to find the specific ID. Click the appropriate row in the search results and click OK to add the ID to the task template.

The selected Entity Type value, in combination with whether you specify a configuration group or a single entity, affects the following ID field.

For example, the ID field can display any of the following labels:

  • If you clear the Group option, the field label is <Entity Type> ID (default setting).

  • If you select the Group option, the field label is <Entity Type> Groups.

  • If you select Service Point Channel as the Entity Type, two text boxes are displayed for the ID field, one for the service point ID and one for the channel number.

  • If you select multiple entity IDs, this field is disabled and Multiple is displayed. For more information about finding multiple IDs, see Searching for Multiple Entity IDs.

ClosedEntity ID

The ID of the entity associated with the request item. Entity data is stored in the AdeEntity table.

ClosedStatus

The status of the request item.

ClosedException Category

The category of the exception. This value is displayed only when the Status value is Exception.

ClosedWait-Until Date

Defines a future date for a scheduled export. IEE will not attempt to process the request prior to this date. IEE uses this date when the request is submitted prior to the export process date. This parameter specifies "wait until" the given date to process the export. If this date is in the past, IEE processes the request immediately.

ClosedDeadline Date

Defines the date and time by which IEE must return a response to the requesting system, either successfully with a result set, or with a failure acknowledgment. This is a future date, and it must come after the Wait Until date.

ClosedReading Start Date

Defines the start of the reading date/time range of the export.

ClosedReading End Date

Defines the end of the reading date/time range for the export.

ClosedQueue Status

A status that can be used to define a secondary set of states that an item moves through while it is in an Exception state. Queue Status is typically used to manage the business process of researching and handling exceptions.

Queue Status values are configured in the Data Export Queue Status code table, and they are only applicable for request items that have a status of Exception.

ClosedOwner

The user ID of the operator handling the active exception. This value is only displayed on the Item View tab if the value in the Status column is Exception.

The Owner can also be used to filter request items based on the user ID handling the active exception. From the Request Item Filter dialog, check the Owner box to enable this pane, and select from the list of possible user IDs. The first user is always the Unassigned user. The other user IDs in the list are users that are assigned to an active exception.

ClosedExport Date

Defines the date and time of export. In the IEE Item View tab, the value in this column only displays if the value in the Status column is Success or Warning.

ClosedTask ID

Defines the task that performed the export. Administrators set up task templates on which to base various tasks.

ClosedNotification Status

Defines the status of the export process as a request item moves through the system, provided that the Notify Requesting System on Exception checkbox is checked under Exception Processing on the AMI Data Export template Processing tab. When the request item is in an Exception state, and the user manually accepts the exception. The Notification Status changes from Not Required to Scheduled. When the Export Task Adapter exports the request items, the Notification Status changes to Exported.

Note: Notification Status is also used when submitting a request item for Reprocessing.
