Configuring service registry config code table

The Service Registry Config code table defines an external web service that IEE communicates with. The service registry must be configured in the service registry code table before you can configure the service endpoint. If you do not configure the service registry, IEE cannot communicate with the external service order management system.

  1. Go to System Administration > System Admin > Code Table Setup.

  2. From the Code Table Selection list, click Service Registry Config Table.

  3. Enter the information for each field:

    • Service Registry ID. Defines the name of the external system.

    • Service Contract. That is, iMassMarketAccount.

    • Base Address. The address of the Mass Market Account service running on the Customer Information System (CIS).

    • Description. (Optional). Details of the Service Registry Config Table.

    • External System ID. Defines the External System code table row ID that represents the CIS.

Note: A check mark next to a code table in the selection list indicates that changes have been made but not saved.

Tip: You can paste data directly into some code tables from Microsoft Excel. Leave the first column in the Excel spreadsheet blank to accommodate the selection buttons in the code table. Code tables (in the Code Table View area of the window) with white backgrounds permit pasting; those with blue (or shaded) backgrounds do not.

  4. Click Save.
