Monitoring current AMI communications

Use AMI Communications Current to monitor the status of communications requests while they are in progress.

  1. Go to AMI > Monitoring > AMI Communications.

  2. Click the Current tab, if not already selected. Current filters allow present and future dates.

  3. Select the Date Type and Date Range.

  4. Under Date Types, select day, week, or month.

  5. Under Date Range, select the dates you want. The Date Range options dynamically change based on the selected Date Type. The default is day.

  6. Under Properties, select the checkboxes to include additional filters, such as requesting systems or collection systems.

  7. Click Apply. The Summary pane displays Request Type and Total.

    • View. Click View to display the data in the Summary pane.

    • Search. The search option allows you to select the entity type and entity ID. Entity Types are typically End Point IDs and Service Point IDs.

    • Export. Click Export to save the report to a local directory.

    • Interactive Communications. Click to open the AMI interactive communications dialog.

The information on the window does not automatically refresh.

To refresh the data immediately, click Refresh Now.

To schedule an automatic refresh rate, use the dropdown menu to select an interval. The refresh rate interval is calculated in minutes. The default is zero.
