User interface basics
Itron Analytics pages are composed of panels. Panels can be maps, charts, tables, or other items. Not all features listed here will be available for every panel. Panel features will work the same way on all panels where they are available.

Clicking the Panel Interval tool dropdown menu changes the interval of data that appears in the panel. The available options depend on the page's selected date range.

Hourly. Select this to display the data in hourly intervals. This interval is only available for durations of seven days or less and when the meter reports hourly data. This interval is not available for register-only meters.

Daily. Select this to display the data in daily intervals. This interval is only available for durations of 90 days or less. This interval is not available for register-only meters.

Weekly. Select this to display the data in weekly intervals. This interval is only available for durations between 8 and 365 days. This interval is not available for register-only meters.

Monthly. Select this to display the data in monthly intervals. This interval is only available for durations of 31 days or more.

Quarterly. Select this to display the data in quarterly intervals. This interval is only available for durations of 91 days or more.

Yearly. Select this to display the data in yearly intervals. This interval is only available for durations of 366 days or more.

Clicking Fullscreen () expands the panel so that it takes up the entire window. Clicking Panel () reduces a fullscreen panel to the normal view.

Clicking Collapse ( or ) collapses a panel so that only the title bar is visible. Clicking Expand ( or ) expands a collapsed panel to the normal view.
Some Itron Analytics dashboards and pages provide panels that are charts with graphed data.

Clicking Chart filter tool () filters the type of data displayed on the chart.

Clicking data layers shows or hides the data types (for example, usage, flow, or events) on the chart.

Each data type has its own y-axis.

Hovering over a point in the chart displays tooltips with additional data.

Clicking the chart navigation arrows pans the viewable portion of the x-axis left or right.

Scrolling the mouse wheel forward zooms in and increases the detail of the x-axis. Scrolling the mouse wheel backward zooms out and decreases the detail of the x-axis.

Clicking on the Chart Navigation arrows moves the viewable portion of the x-axis left or right.

Clicking Download () and selecting Export to CSV exports the table's data as a CSV file.
Some Itron Analytics dashboards and pages provide panels that are maps to help identify a device's physical environment.

Selecting layers changes the appearance of the map.

Map. Select this to display a flat abstract map with streets.

Terrain. Select or clear this checkbox to toggle the appearance of topographic surface features. This option is cleared by default for most maps.

Satellite. Select this to display a photographic map. This is the default view for most maps.

Labels. Select or clear this checkbox to toggle the appearance of street and point of interest names. This option is selected by default for most maps.

Clicking map icons displays tooltips with additional data.

Clicking Tilt map () toggles a slight angle to the map. Clicking Tilt map () on a tilted map removes the tilt.

When a map is tilted, clicking Rotate map clockwise () rotates the map 90º clockwise and clicking Rotate map counterclockwise () rotates the map 90° counterclockwise.

Clicking Zoom in (), scrolling the mouse wheel forward, or double-clicking in the map zooms in one level. in the Map Zoom tools to zoom in one level. Clicking Zoom out () or scrolling the mouse wheel backward zooms out one level.
