Importing data for a group

1. On the Group Information page, click Data Import tool ().

   

   The Data Import tool opens.

2. Select the type of identifying data included in the file that will be imported.

   Note: If you are importing group data for electric, your file must contain only service point type identification data. Meter number and endpoint data import identification types are unavailable for electric groups.

   Note: Only one identification type per file is supported. A file cannot contain a mix of service points, meter numbers, or endpoints.

   

3. Click Browse.

   

4. Browse to your CSV file and select it.

   Note: The CSV file should be a list of service points, meter numbers, or endpoint numbers separated by commas.

5. Click Open.

6. Click Process.

   

   After processing, a table of invalid items and the reason they are not valid will display.

7. Click Import.

   

   The valid items' service points are displayed and selected in the Results table. Duplicate items are filtered out.
